Panchami Tithi

According to Hindu Calendar, one date is formed when Sun moves 12 degree forward from its position. Owner of this date is god serpent (Naag). Person born of this date should worship God Naag and take care of serpents. This date comes under the category of Purna Tithi. This date is said to complete all tasks. 

Panchami Tihi Yoga

According to the Yogas formed by date and day, Panchami Tithi create Mrityu Yoga when falling on Saturday. It is one of the inauspicious Yoga. Panchami Tithi on Thursday form the Siddha  Yoga. Rang Panchami is celebrated on the Panchami Tithi of Falgun month that comes after Holi. Different food items are made on this day and people play with colours on this day.

Naag Panchami –

On this day Naag Devta is worshipped. This date is considered favourable for Kaal Sarp Shanti. If this Puja is performed on this Tithi, it gives auspicious results and relief from Kaal Sarp Dosha.

Vasant Panchami

The birthday of Goddess Saraswati is observed as Vasant Panchami (Basant Panchami) or better known to be Saraswati Puja in a few states of India. Saraswati Puja is celebrated every year on the 5th day of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of Magha. In   this festival falls on 26 January.

Saraswati Puja

Vasant Panchami is celebrated on the eve of the birthday of Goddess Saraswati. It has many stories related to its celebration. It is believed that on this day Goddess Saraswati was born. The story of Saraswati puja is related to ‘Brahma Vaivarta Purana’ and ‘Matsya Purana’. In   this festival falls on 26 January.

Rang Panchami

Rang Panchami is commemorated after 5 days of Holi celebration which is a Hindu festivity of fun and colors. It is considered as one of the important festivals in Indian states- Maharashtra, Bihar, Uttar-Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and other parts of Northern India. In  , Rang Panchami falls on11 March.

Hera Panchami

Hera Panchami is an important and unique ritual of Rath yatra. ‘Hera’ means to ‘see’ and ‘Panchami’ means the ‘fifth day’. It is celebrated at the Gundicha temple on the fifth day from the start date of the Jagannath Rath Yatra. This ritual dedicates to Goddess Mahalakshmi. Rishi Panchami

Rishi Panchami is an auspicious Hindu fasting day, especially for women. It observes on the fifth day of the Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapad month, according to Hindu Lunar Calendar. This year, Rishi Panchami falls on 19 September  .

Vivah Panchami

Vivah Panchami will fall on Margashirsha Shukla Paksha Panchami date i.e. 16 December  . It is said in the scriptures that this day has a lot of importance because on this day Lord Rama was married to Goddess Sita in Tretayuga. Therefore, this day is also known as Vivah Panchami.
